Well I figured I will be entering my 1HV in the robogames so I might as well make him look a little different. I was watching King Kong on TV and thought that would be funny as hell to make a kong bot...lol Its still a work in progress. I will be adding 2 more servos so it he will have elbows and fore arm rotation. I also added some thin rubber padding to his feet to give him more traction. As soon as I finish his elbows I will post some pics.

Too cool Droid! Are you planning on going all out with finding some fur that you can put on the legs and arms? That'll be one mean look 1HV:)

How well does the foot padding work?

Not fur, but I am working on armor that will give it more of a gorilla look. also when I add the elbows it will make his arms longer and make him look more gorilla like. The padding works pretty good although I had to adjust the walking gait a little. But now he has more accurate movement without all the slipping and sliding. Its is a dry foam rubber thin padding. So it doesn't grip to much or slide to much, its just right.
