Hi claymore1977, welcome to the community!!

strange... Could you provide some links (and where they were found) on our trossenrobotics page that are dead? I check Google webmaster tools every couple of weeks and the last time I checked all of the links back to Phidgets were ok. I know the phidgetsusa links are dead (or pointing to our Phidgets page, see below) because that's our old site. We're still working on getting all of our old links redirected to the appropriate trossenrobotics.com URLs. However, the trossenrobotics URL's shouldn't be dead. Our Phidgets page can be found at the following URL:

http://www.trossenrobotics.com/phidgets.aspx

At the bottom of the grid, you'll see "Getting Started With Phidgets". This links you to various download pages on Phidgets Inc (the manufacturer of Phidgets), just choose your OS. Here's a direct link to their downloads page:

What sort of project are you working on?

Yes strange. They are working now. Next time I have this error (and its happened before) I will write down the page and link.

I am testing out the possibility of using phidgets for data acquisition & control for large model railroad layouts.

Cool! We've had quite a few customers use Phidgets for model railroads systems. Keep us updated, and if you feel up to it, feel free to document your project in your own blog (http://forums.trossenrobotics.com/blog.php)and upload pictures to your own gallery (http://forums.trossenrobotics.com/gallery/upload.php?&c=3).
