Touch sensitivity

What kind of sensors to be used for implementing touch sensitivity. So that the specific bot part retracts itself after sensing touch.

A simple push-button could also work, with an attached bumper. Might be easier to read, too. And cheaper to implement.
Cheaper + easier = Better (usually)
