How much power could you draw from a small coil next to a 120 v line?
Does any body know?
holy crap that's freaky! I can imagine driving down a country road, seeing UAV's scaring away all the crows sitting on the power line:)
Very interesting idea. I can imagine ways to latch on in decent conditions, but small UAVs would no doubt have a hard time in moderate wind.
As for morphing to disguise itself while recharging, I would think a coke can hanging from a power line would be a bit suspicious. Now...a pair of tennis shoes...nobody would suspect.
