You may have to mess around with them a bit to get them to work. Enjoy

Thanks for the update droidworks! Crab Fu sure created some very realistic motions for the Kondo KHR-2HV:)
Anyone that doesn't know Crab Fu or thinks that hip rotation servos are a necessity to get realistic human-like walking gaits, be sure to check out the videos below. Crab Fu did an amazing job with these (they're in chronological order):

I don't... I need to get back into this humanoid thing... If I get around to something worth sharing, I'll send you the files to upload :)

I think I might try some of these out eventually... do you have to have a hip kit? or is yours stock crabfu? would'nt mind a breakdown of what is inside your bot, and setup,etc,etc...
thanks!!!

Stock with 2 gyros. In the videos above, I had tried some different feet. I'm now settled in the 1hv tub feet, which works well.

these motions, and the 2hv acrobatic videos, really influenced me on the purchase of this bot...

Impressive gait. I thought these humanoids were capable of more than what is typically seen... I guess that's why he is Gepetto Emeritus. ;)

Crabfu has done some great work with the 2hv. I had the opportunity to meet him at the robogames and I learned allot about kondo bots I didn't know from him. He is a great guy and very talented. I always look forward to seeing what he is working on next.

Thanks for the kind words guys, hmmm I'd have to say.... I guess I like to make headaches for myself lol.... I made these motions to have a bit more character than most motions out there, but it is NOT the best motions for humanoids.
The attempt at adding some personality, and more natural gait, means it does not work as well as other motions - it falls over a lot, especially when the battery drains a bit and unable to keep the torque needed for certain servos. Adding upright, longer strides, and feet tilts to walk cycles etc, makes it terribly unstable. By simply moving the cg down, smaller steps, with feet always level, makes for a much more efficient walk for a humanoid. So my motions are not as functional, but an attempt at trying to make it a bit less robotic I guess. It's not the best motion out there for walking your kondo around in, but hey it's free for ya to download and try if you want to join me in my headaches :)

Hey, your motions are amazing, especially for your stock bot and 2 gyros. So in your opinion what are the "best moves" available??
I consdier yours to be something pretty special as do many others.
Have finished my Khr 2hv now so can start getting motions sorted!!

Thanks... to be honest, I have not tried any other moves. To me making the moves from scratch was the reason that I picked up one of these puppies, and is the fun part, so I didn't even start with the stock. Driod Works has some pretty fancy footwork going on at robogames this year, that I got to see in person, and of course there are some really impressive 2hv vids from japan :)
