I come to the conclusion i have too much time to surf the web. But im no longer a transistor any more.

Awesome! Anything with a 454 running open headers sounds mean. I think I want to use a 454 for the motor on my first bot...

I don't think this beast can be rightfully called a spider. It looks to me like the eight legs are operated in two quads rather than each leg being independently movable. Using a pivet pad to allow it to turn is really cheating.
It's still a cool beast though, regardless of what it is called. I wonder how long it took to construct it such that it really can move.
