Parts have arrived. (Picture attached) :-) Get to start coding tonight...

Do we have anyone who is a guru on the 3 axis phidgets sensor?

I would just like to say the shopping experience was great. Order shipped within a few hours of paying.

Whats your design going to be Plane of VTOL? Saw the new WOW WEE Bladestar and now I got the bug to build a self tracking UAV.

Hey Like I said I got the UAV bug, check out this site http://diydrones.com/ They have a group that builds UAV's for under $1K and they have the source code to control your UAV for free. This site has both planes and helicopters that fly on there own.

I am working on a modified XUFO with 8 props so it can lift a lot of boards. This video is 7 min long but move it up to 3.40 min and see the Star 8.

This modified XUFO can already lift a digial camera using only 4 props.

Cool website. Interesting Google ads that show up on a "drone" website... Anybody need any ordnance for their drone:veryhappy:

What is the technical difference between a UAV and a R/C airplane or vehicle?

misiu,
Have you seen the PhidgetWebService for the devices? Allowing control over IP - this is along the lines of something we were talking about except it requires a PC at the other end to interpret the commands. I am going to have to play with that...
