Can anyone suggest a small, battery powered touch screen to connect to my Mini-ITX computer. I'd like something similar to a blackberry screen, but a little bigger would be fine.

Thanks,
Howard

The smallest screens Ive seen are about 7" and people use them for car computers so I start looking there.

The aftermarket car industry uses indash monitors as small as six inches, but the trend is toward bigger monitors so the small ones can be harder to find. Since cars run on 12 volts the monitors would need anymore than that, but it may drain batteries fast. The good thing is that they dont cost to much, and you can get touchscreen ones for not to much more. Im not sure how you would use that feature but it would be a pretty cool if you could. My guess would be to use a tablet version of a windows os as your operating system, but I dont really know for sure. Actually if anyone does know how to do that i would like to know.

What about buying a "dead" tablet laptop. You could salvage the screen from it, it would already be configured for computer input and touch.
