Hi!
I'm wondering if there is a way to have 0-10V DC output using a Phidgets 8/8/8.
Does a Phidget motor control output 0-10V ?
Thanks,
-Vince
Have you taken a look at the product manuals yet?
Phidgets Low Votage Motor Controller (http://www.phidgets.com/documentation/Phidgets/1060.pdf)
Phidgets High Current Motor Controller (http://www.phidgets.com/documentation/Phidgets/1064.pdf)

I have, I'm just not sure if these motor controllers will do...
From what I gather, these motors output a PWM voltage which simulates a steady voltage when passed through a DC motor. The difference between a DC motor and my intended application is that my actuators take a 2-10V signal and open or close a damper (or valve) proportionally to this signal (ie.: they stop turning when the opening is proportional to the input voltage).
For example this product:

I'm afraid that sending a PWM voltage may prematurely fry this unit. Any ideas?

I actually found a solution to my problem: several manufacturers of HVAC control actuators offer PWM actuators, so that's solved :)
