Hi there!

Here's a project I'm working on called BubbleBoy. It runs on an Arduino and has 2 servos. :D

It's purpose is to be a nice and friendly human-robotic interface. I hope to eventually make it interact with my software, Robbie the Robot. (It can have a human-machine conversation, vocally & sociably).

I still have some finishing touches to add, but check out the videos!

Keepon has a brother now! Awesome. This is an interesting project because when I saw keepon I was trying to mentally reverse engineer him myself. I was wondering how to make his body using store found items, but I came up dry. I think he was specially molded. The other thing is how fast he moves, he bops faster than regular servos move I think.

Bubble Boy is off to a great start. Please keep us posted on your progress and what you learn along the way. Are you actually processing beats right now to try and have him bop to a rhythm or is he just bopping on his own right now?

He just bops by himself now, Matt. :) These styrofoam balls are pretty cool!
But I think Keepon uses foam, as it's squishy. :)
