I see a need for a place to separate out discussions of interfaces between TROM, it's components, and outside elements. Outside elements would include other MCUs, devices, sensors, etc. This would also include defining Object models for hardware such a sensors.
We can discuss ways to create software interfaces to hardware and other software modules, as we move foward with TROM. This can and should include discussion of protocols used to interface to sensors, other MCUs, which can be I2C, SPI, RS-232, One-Wire, and others.
