This is a sensor robot and as the name implies it has a number of sensors.
[1] IRPD sensor
[2] GD2P12 IR sensors
[3] bump micro switches
[4] PIR
[5] Ping Ultra sonic
[6] CDS for LED headlights
None sensor
[7] Emic text to speech
[8] Pan/tilt
[9] Co-Processor [Bluebell design]
This project took about 6 months to complete and is not yet finished programing wise.

Next a set of casters that match the height of the bottom of the servo wheel so that when the base sits flat on a table there is NO rocking of the base.

Next we have fabricated an alloy bracket for the battery box which is fixed between the servos. The batteries are 2,500mah Enegizer recharghables.

Next we have to make a bumper, this is fabricated from 1mm alloy with a SQ LEGO 4x4 block glued to the back of bracket and it uses the hole through the center for the rod support.

These are our IRPD infra red distance sensors { Phillips ] Center one is the receiver and two outer ones are transmitters.

Very nice write up, I like that you did a step by step, I should really do something similar on my next bot.

Tyberius: Many thanks for your comment, It is time consuming doing a detailed write up but I think well worth it for the viewers. As they can see what is involved in building a robot, whether simple or complex. I would love to see a detailed tutorial of your bots. Although your J5 is pretty good.
