Hey did anyone else watch Iron Man yet? I watched it last night and loved it. Probably going to go watch it again sometime this weekend. The robot arm is pretty cool, and I love how they gave it some personality.

Oh yeah sorry. Lol its not our fault that you haven't seen it yet. Its to cool of a movie to not talk about. I had 30 minute conversation with some friends from college about what we would need to make a suit like that. Then it evolved into a which super hero would win in a fight kinda thing. It was a pretty interesting discussion. (yes it is kinda sad that we were talking about it during exam week, but oh well)

talk about it all you want, no worries here. I'm sure it's a ridiculously cool movie and I'm freakin stoked to watch it:)

I'm just asking that you don't give away any cool parts in the movie (ie. Remember when _____, yeah! that was cool).

Yeah gotta agree with the general consensus here, it was a very well done action movie. Quite possibly the best superhero movie made yet. Definitely worth seeing in the big screen.

Remember when everyone dies at the end (except the love interest - (s)he dies way earlier)?

That was soo cool! :p:p:p

Hello,

One of the things that I liked about the movie was the robotics type stuff that Stark had around his house. Like the commercial arm with a camera and gripper and a degree of AI. It was futuristic, but on some level doable. The same with the AI that runs his house.

I enjoyed Batman Begins quite a bit, but this is a superior movie imo.

Alright, alright... I guess Iron Man does kick more ass than Batman (http://gizmodo.com/387583/who-kicks-more-ass-batman-or-iron-man) ;)

I wonder how long it will be before one of us make a replica of the arm...lol

I was thinking the same thing. I mentioned something to my parents about sticking it on my ceiling in places of the fan and light that I have up there now. If I made it big enough it would be able to reach everything but my closet. It would be cool if it could hang clothes up tho. I like the whole idea of giving an arm A.I., vision, and voice recognition.

That would be a great PC robotics project.

*SLIGHT SPOILER ALERT*

That arm was hilarious! It reminded me of that suicide arm back in the super bowl commercials;)

How bout that robot (?) that put the suit on him though?!? Now THAT was freakin wild!

had to see it in China (in Chinese) but I got to watch it a month early than US release date.

I really wish that wasn't CGI. I so want to do that now--all of it.

Now where to begin...

Yes, this movie was the best movie in the world.

Did you catch that one little comment about the automated assembly for the new suit taking five hours? Wouldn't it be nice if we could just design a robot on a computer, tell other robots to build it, then come home from a party five hours later and see it sitting there waiting for us?

Yes Excellent, Already for the sequel. R.D. Jr was the perfect pick for this movie. I did like the Jerrico Missile, Awsome.
