I just bought this Power supply (http://www.allspectrum.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=67&products_id=534&osCsid=b0a2d6c47a5cd371f9513c63c1c3003f&sdesc=Lab+Power+Supply+0-15V+%2F+3A+Digital+Display+with+Backlight+Model+%2 3+PS1503SBU) and I should have it in 2 days. My old one died and the price was right on this one. Has anyone had any experience with this particular power supply? The price seems to good to be true, I hope it is as good as it seems to be. Any info would be much appreciated.

The two places they'd fall down is lifespan and cleanliness of the power supplied. First thing I'd do is put it on my O'scope and see how clean the power is.

Do they have anything larger there? A least 5A? I'll poke around....

Yes they have 15v, 30v ect But this is the one I need.I'm using it as part of a mobile robotics work station for small robots and humanoids . I plan on checking it on my O'scope when it gets here, I just hope it is clean and steady and has no glitches like overheating or fuse eating..lol if it works as well as I hope I'm a happy camper. I think it may be a new product, no one seems to have one or used one of these particular models.

Alas, doesn't look like they have anything in the 5-10A range. Nothing larger than 3A.

Let us know what you think of it!

Let us know what you think of it! This is probably the cheapest you will find in 5-10A. http://www.bgmicro.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=12525

Thanks! That's not a bad price. I picked-up a surplus HP awhile back on eBay and then had it calibrated and certified. With certification it was probably around $100 more than that...
