I've been looking at CLARAty (http://claraty.jpl.nasa.gov/man/overview/index.php), and will be continuing to look at it. I am wondering now if what we are attempting here has already been accomplished with CLARAty (http://claraty.jpl.nasa.gov/man/overview/index.php).
Let's discuss!

Pretty darned cool at first blush, but it's going to take me some time to absorb that and answer your question.

Well there are a bunch of things just at first glance that are allot differences. CLARAty (http://claraty.jpl.nasa.gov/man/overview/index.php) Is defenatly not for beginners. It is very complicated and not very user friendly. This is more of an advanced user program. I could go on but this is as different form TRS as MSRS is. CLARAty (http://claraty.jpl.nasa.gov/man/overview/index.php) nor MSRS are a full spectrum program like TRS is. TRS will cover the bases form beginner to expert and that is the selling point and beauty of TRS. Its for everyone.

I am still looking at CLARAty. Yes, there are certainly some very advanced things in here. I wonder if we might be able to at least use parts of CLARAty and provide more user friendly wrappers around it.

True. However, if there is something in CLARAty we would like to add, we should be able to craete a more friendly wrapper, if indeed CLARAty is that bad as far as being friendly.
The whole idea of TRS is to make advanced things easier to use.

I agree, if there are any aspects of Claraty that can be expanded on they should be looked at. We should look at all the TRS competition to gain more advantages. A good idea is a good idea no matter where it comes from.

I don't think it is a matter of expanding on CLARAty, but rather including what we can from it and providing more friendly wrappers around it if needed. I see CLARAty not as competition for TRS at all, but as another potential code base for us to draw from when possible. I'm thinking about code for algorithms we might not have to recreate with CLARAty. CLARAty is supposed to be very modular, just as TRS will be. Perhaps we can find ways to include the best of CLARAty or at least learn from it.

I think you may have misunderstood. I didnt mean expand on clarity....lol I mean expand TRS with the knolage gained from other products like clarity and others.

You just repeated the same thing. Like I said:
