How are the Phidgets mounted? Are they just glued?

Very cool, but whoa! These pics are tearing apart the forums. Can you embed them instead of using IMG tags?

Metaform3D: They are just temporary there at this stage, They will be bolted on to the Acrlyic sheet.
Matt: Sorry, I would probably have to remove them from here and redo them, I now have M/S picture it so can reduce them to the sizes that I have previously posted. These shots were taken 6 months ago. So I need to take them over and reduce them.

Just download the free program irfan view (http://www.irfanview.com/). That can resize them for you :)

Metaform3D: They are just temporary there at this stage, They will be bolted on to the Acrlyic sheet.I see.

I've found that short lengths of 1/8" acrylic tubing can be welded (acetone) to the sheet for ultra-cheap standoffs.

Metaform3D: Yep, That would also work ok, but remember that acetone or any substance that melts perspex or acrylic sheet will make the surrounding area go a milky color as the fumes bite into the sheet.

Where did you get that gripper? Did you make it?

Robotguy: No, This is an Evolution Robotics arm which is an accessory for the ER1 Robot. It is USB and has two servo motors and IR sensors in the gripper.

If you use "Manage Attachments" here in the forum, it will resize them on the fly for you into thumbnails that can be clicked on and "drilled down" to larger resolution twice over. No effort at all!

Adrenalyn: Thanks for that info.

No problems! Another thing you can do (Thanks, Alex, for pointing this out to me) is use the "Manage Attachments", upload your images, then click on the "Paperclip" icon in Advanced edit. The paperclip will allow you to insert managed images anywhere in the text.

They'll post with a thumbnail automagically. When someone clicks on 'em, they'll get a mid-sized image inside a frame. If they click a second time, they'll get the full-sized unadulterated image without any forum code around it - so no mangled frames.

Hope that was clear! Let me know if you have any questions.

Adrenalynn: Thanks, better still.
