Tyb, How are wireless ip cams going to be handled? Should I bring my own router, will static IP's be assigned? When will battles be assigned, how much time between rounds? Will this cover the whole weekend or will the event be decided in one day? I know there still has to be final count as to participants, but whatever info you can provide would be helpful. Room is booked, already registered, so count me in!

I think Tyb is bringing a router.

*I* think Tybs is just luring us all there so he can have his robot minions exterminate us.

Minions can be destroyed...Bwaaahaaa

Manny, I'm going to bring my own router just so I don't have to mess with changing IP 's and such. It's not a big deal, but I am familiar with my own setup, and comfortable with it. One could have the cam and laptop setup in ad-hoc mode, but I found that with my hardware, my connection speed dropped from 54 mbs to 11 mbs. (not acceptable)

Look foreward to meeting you.

I had the same results in ad-hoc mode as well. No trouble to bring my own router. Especially since the IP is hard-coded into my software!:p
