Well, I got the message that my package arrived, so i immediately took the rest of the day off at work (including tomorrow) and got building.

At this point I haven't eaten since 12 so I'm half dead, but it's ready to destroy the competition!!

Bring it on baby!!

Oh, right, the pic (http://users.pandora.be/svendecock/robot/Mech.JPG)

Big things come in little packages!

Looks awesome! Aren't you going to get in trouble for all that glue residue on the floor? ;)

People around me have accepted the fact that a clean environment blocks my creativity.

That, and I haven't had time to mop the floor yet today..

You women notice everything dammit!!

awesome ScuD, maybe I can whip up a worthy competitor for you tonight! (I thought maybe he had spikes in his shoes for good traction!)
I vacuumed the eyeball off of a fancy goldfish once- he hardly even blinked! Lived another good 5 years!

ScuD: You win, with a weapon like that you can't loose. I think he might have trouble reloading though.

@ ScuD
I realize this is an odd place to ask this question, but is your user name a reference to the Rob Schrab comic, "Scud: The Disposable Assassin"?

I didn't realize we could use cocktail glasses! Alcohol makes all the difference!!!

@ Electricity; what can i say man ,you're a source of inspiration

@ Dave, alas i do not know either Rob Shrab, nor his comics? The nick is a historical one though, but it refers to some lame dutch joke involving tampons... I'll leave the details to your imagination :p

Ahh, nice.. Well, we'll just save that one for when we open our "Crude Hygiene-Related Jokes" subforum. I only asked because Scud is a comic about a quirky robot, and this is.. you know... a quirky robotics forum.

Actually, I intend to use the kickback as a basic evasive action.
Kinda like the matrix, only completely not so.

Jon, putting a Bioloid J5 body on the LM track chassis is a cool idea. I had not seen that one before from you. So many bots, so little time!

There's a bunch of info on my wiki (http://www.bioloid.info/tiki/tiki-index.php?page=BrainEngineering+BrainBot) about BrainBot...
