Naw, a more realistic treatment would be to bring back Arnie. He'd be poorly disguised as a Republican, he'd be remote controlled by his wife, and would get beat to a pulp by every "special interest" group on the planet, ultimately surrendering to all of them. It would be set in a major state plummeting into financial ruin under gestapo-like legislation.

The movie would be called: "The Guburnator"

THAT would be a "more realistic approach" - but I think the horror would be too raw for most movie goers, so it'll never be made.

He frequents a restaurant I tend to eat at - I understand it's his favorite place - so I see him pretty frequently. Man, he looks horrible.

The owner introduced me to him one day, and given his bio, I was surprised I was actually looking at his forehead. Alex would easily look over the top of his head... Either he has a shrinking problem, or some of the bio I've read in history are... inflated.
