I just noticed... it's on http://www.botjunkie.com/ too! With a video of it.

yeah I just saw this last night... I am a big flying nut... and a mini/micro nut... and obviously bot addict... so this man is a god. I've been experimenting with building mini r/c ornithopters... many times bigger than this thing, with no success, never enough lift for the weight, and not able to climb and barely maintain altitude. The fact that this tiny thing flys that well is amazing, managing to carry the camera payload is just mind boggling.

That I mind bendingly small.
Any one knows where that camera system can be purchased from?
I have been looking for something like that!

LOL thanks... I thought putter bot was one of the least interesting thing I've made, but apparently a lot of people love it. I guess it has more to do with the sport and idea, than how it looks, character, and locomotion. Anyway thanks! but nothing all that special compared to this little bugger... THAT is really impressive beyond what I can comprehend :)

Thanks for the links Adrenalynn!
You are the closest thing we have to Hermonie(Harry Potter reference) for the robotics world! Your wealth of info boggles the mind...

As for the bot, that thing is really cool! I'd love to try and make something like that. My big fat ol sausage hands would probably smoosh it tho..

She's my hero from the series - so I'll take that complement with zest! :D Thanks! :) I have a curse of remembering very nearly every detail of everything I ever read, see, hear, smell, ...

I've dealt a LOT with SuperCircuits in my video business. Covert cameras, mics, portable DVRs, even some custom packaging with a good business justification. They're ok peeps in my experience with them.

They also have held the "smallest color security camera" Guinness Book record for at least five or six years. They have an even smaller camera than the one I posted - if it's not available yet, it will be soon. This one will flip the tiny camera industry on its ear again for sure.

Spybots rejoice! :) If these guys are building this stuff this small, what do you think our spy services have? I could almost become a conspiracy nut myself... ;)

Haha wow, you pretty much just nailed it. We'll just have to start calling her Hermie.
