I was looking for some servos that might be good to power a lynx 209 type robot and these look pretty good for the price. 29.99$
Anyone tried the SR581 with the SES or ssc-32? I haven't seen one review on them anywhere...Thanks!

Anytime I see cheap servos I cringe. Been lured into cheap servos one too many times myself. Even a 645 isn't that much more money. . .

Scar3CrOw: I think you will regret going for the cheap servo in the long run, A 127 oz servo is pretty weak for a biped, save up and get a more robust servo for a biped 200 oz or more, Mine are 333-440 oz for my scout.

Hey thanks for the advice! ( I need lots of that:wink:)
I definitely won't buy a bunch of servos that can't do what I want. People seem to like the hi-techs, that would be a better way to go, just need to sell some organs.

I still wonder how the JR robot servos are quality-wise, they might still be ok for a different application like a hexapod or something.. It's weird that I can't find anything online about people that have used them.

Hey 4mem8 what model servos do you use for your scout?

scar3crOw: I am currently using the Hitec HSR 5990TG, There are very expensive servos at $124 U.S each. but well worth it, Titanium gears and a heatsink around the case. also metal servo disc's on top.
