Home Built WiFi IP Executor Features:

Video signal supports PAL or NTSC.
Video input source can be composite or s-video and run-time switch is supported.
Video resolution from 240x160 to 704x576 and run-time switch is supported.
H.264 baseline profile is used for video compression.
Trade off between compress ratio and performance. Run-time switch is supported.
Input audio source can be line-in or Mic and run-time switch is supported.
UDP data transmitting via IP network.
Audio communication bi-direction is supported.
PC Server supports multiple clients data streaming.

Power Consumption By onlime measurement:
DM6437 EVM working at 4.8v 600mA.
Wireless Module working at 4.8v 500mA.
CCD Mini Camera with Mic working at 9.6v 100mA.

Hi Sthmck.

I bought a TI DM6437 DSP kit and start from scratch. The network is using TI's evaluation package, other part are developped by myself in my spare time.

The laser lighting come from two cross laser devices, small, light and cheap.

With the two cross laser light, I can got a few distance information and use it to do some measurement.

For example, if some thing is very close, the laser light is very bright. And two laser cross points can tell me the distance. While two points come to close, that mean the distance is close, while two points come to far, that mean the distance is far.

In the second image, the foot of the table make the laser light very bright, so it's a little close to the foot.
By measure the width of the two cross points, it tells the distance to the position.


If use expensive laser measurement device (noramlly several K USD), it will be accurate.
Since I am DIY home builder, the two cross laser is a cheap solution to me. It works, though not perfect.

I made this 6 feet executor, and fit the controller module on it.
Sorry, it looks ugly and move very slow.

I will change it later.

The controller side use a loptop, access wireless lan, and controll the executor by IP address.
The executor can be accessed via internet from worldwide. You can saw what it saw and you can hear what it heard, it can speak what you want to speak.

Currently, I am saving money to buy some senors. These months spent savings to buy some materials and tools.

Here gives the video that how joystick controlling the move steps.

By combine button and directions, it controlls the movement for different style and move speed.

The cmmand is manual set in program. Different structure can use different command.

NRF24L01 Nordic wireless GFSK transceivers.
World wide 2.4 - 2.5 GHz ISM band with on air data rate 1 Mbps/2Mbps.
Full duplex communication provided by two NRF24L01.
UART RS232/TTL interface to PC or other devices.
UART rate supports 4800Hz /9600Hz /19200Hz /38400Hz /115200Hz.
4 LEDs indicate working statues.
Channel switches support upto 32 pairs of sender/receiver working at same time.
1Mbps/2Mbps on air data rate selectable.
7V~12V DC input.
Up to 15m working distance with 3dB antenna at open space.
