We had a blast and got to check out Farrell Robotics (http://www.farrellrobotics.com/)' new robots, EX-106 based humanoids named Kai and Zyn!

Here is some video that Mike Overstreet (Gort) shot.

Here is Farrell Robotics' newest EX-106 based bot, Kai. This thing is a fricken monster. They only have about an hour of programming into it, so its still very much so a work in progress and not stable yet.

And here is ME (oh yeah! It made my week) controlling Zog, trying pitifully to fight Kai... who is too heavy to even be affected by the punches I actually managed to land. Let me tell you, the Farrells make piloting these things look EASY, but they are really difficult to get down well. Just look at how many times I make it fall over.

Man that is so funny Tyberius, Hey, great you could have a go at fighting with the robot. [Lucky you] Oh that big fella, man that company is doing great with their robotics, a force to reckon with.

Will you be creating an iHobby Expo 2009 album? I have several pictures I could upload.

I wasn't able to attend the trade show during the week but the weekend crowds were great! This event was an absolute blast. I hope to return next year for more robot fun!
