Hi,

Techfest is the Annual International Science and Technology Festival of IIT Bombay and one of the largest festivals of its kind in Asia.It receives participation of over 45,000 students and professionals from all over the world. Innovative competitions catering to diverse sections, Exhibitions of the cutting edge research being carried out in all parts of the world, Lectures by eminent scientists are among the many events that are organized as a part of Techfest. The twelfth edition of Techfest is planned to be held from 24th to 26th January 2009.

Competition have been the heart of Techfest and have huge following from Indian Sub Continent students.Techfest has received steady international participation like UK, Singapore, Iran, Dubai, Sri Lanka etc over the years.

This Year, Techfest goes bigger than ever with iNexus, a unique initiative wherein regional rounds of the Techfest flagship competition Arthrobot, will be organized in various countries across the globe.

Robo Cluster, Odense, Denmark 6th December
University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka 6th December
BITS Pilani, Dubai 8th December

The other major attraction at Techfest are Micromouse, RC Engine car comptition : F.T.E.B , Image Processing Competition : G.O.A.L, Aeromodelling competition : Falcon and many other robotics competition.

Apart from robotics competition Techfest conduts many coding & science competitions as well such as Energize and Elixir 2.0 , Gravity Groove , Trans-mission.
