View Full Version : [Project] Prototype build with linkages, controller and motor

I'm an inventor looking to build a prototype that attaches to a vacuum cleaner.
The reason I'm here is that I think its similar to a robot in that it uses linkages connected to a speed controlled electric motor.
If interested, I can send you a rough draft.
If its something you can do or know of someone that specializes in that area let me know.
If its in your wheelhouse, I'll need a bid to complete the project.

I'm sorry, what are you asking?

He's looking for an engineer interested in working on a project.

I need a small high torque electric motor that would mount to the front of a vacuum cleaner and a speed control that could be mounted somewhere near the handle. The motor needs to draw power from an outlet that powers the vacuums original motor.

Either the motor needs to spin or even better perform a push-pull movement like a piston in a car. If it’s a normal motor, you will need to transform the circular motion into linear with linkages.

I would prefer you would give the estimate for both the linear movement and the normal motor movement, I may want both motors.

If interested and expert in these areas let me know and I will send you an NDA to sign and we can discuss further.
