Wow, nice find! It looks like there is a C library available too. Please don't make me buy more toys...

Man, that does look impressive Adrenalynn, even the stamp dev board looks good, but that price?? one would almost think it is a miss print?

Naw, I think it's pretty accurate given their pricing on microcontrollers.

Jes - it works with the standard GNU toolchain. It's "just" an ARM-7. Well-known dev process there...

What robot projects have been done with an ARM? I saw another cheap NXP LPC2103 board recently too, thought it could be interesting to work with. Usually use GCC? I haven't gone into that, but hope I could get through the process adequately well.

The Gumstix and Tin Can Tools larger ARMs are a common robotics mainstay. Some of the best fighting humanoids on the planet are running the Gumstix.

I've done innumerable projects non-robotics-related with the ARM processors. A joy to work with. The Make Controller is also an (older) ARM 7.

Yup - the gcc cross compile toolchain is very mature.

I have been wanting to break into the ARM world so I am seriously tempted to pick this thing up. I don't have a project for it though. Hmmm....
