Alex,
Thanks for all the help and info but I don't think it is working as you describe. If you would like to test this theory post a new test message to the Chibots group and I'll let you know if I get email notification of it. So far this has only happened for threads I have replied to or originated.
Always curious never put off... :veryhappy:
Take care,
KJohn
This thread is in reference to the discussion that started over in the Off Topic forum. Please look at posts #390 - 403 in the following thread for reference:

I needed to create a new thread before Adrenalynn kicks my a#@:)

No problem KJohn, thanks for the patience! I think I see what you mean, but correct me if I'm misunderstanding. If I click "Group Tools -> Subscribe to this Group", it doesn't appear to do a thing... I posted in the vBulletin forums about this, so hopefully I'll hear back from them soon. However, I tested the Subscribe to This Discussion function, if you go into a specific discussion, and that works just fine. I get the email right away:) Were you having problems with that one?

Alex,
Once I reply / subscribe / create a thread I am able to get email updates on it regardless of whether it is in the forums or the social groups. My only problem is getting notification in the social groups when someone else starts a new thread.
Take care,
KJohn
sounds like I was spot on with the issue:) (or is it:().
Anyways, it looks like this issue has been discussed in the vBulletin community and may be addressed/fixed in version 3.8.1. vBulletin is usually pretty responsive when customers complain about stuff of this magnitude. I'm not anticipating too long of a wait for this fix.
