Hitec 5995 vs 5990.

I have a question with regard to these two servos..

According to the specs the 5990 can do 180 degrees by doing 600-2400us. Stock they're 120 degrees.

The 5995's do 180 degree on 1100-1900us. Can the 5995's be programmed to do 600-2400us for 180 degrees or 5990's be programmed to be the same as 5995's?

My problem is this.. I have a odd number of servos.. and I need to either get one more 5995 (which is disco'd), or trade that one in and get 2 5990's.. Cause, I really don't think mixing the two types in a biped will work very well unless it's matched on the other side.

The 5990s can have their endpoints programmed, I know that much.

I know nothing about the 5995s.

Have you considered a different servo altogether for the hip rotate function? I imagine that might be one place you don't need a super servo, maybe you could use a pair of 5645s?

Legs are 6DOF, and I have 9 servos. I plan on using 2 5645's for hip rotate, that still leaves me 1 5995 servo short.
