I need to use two digital 5v sub-micro servos with my Kondo RCB-3 HV board, which is a 9 to 12 volt board. Has anyone else mixed low voltage servos on their high volt board? What is the best method?

I don't know mush about the RCB-3 HV board. If you want convert 9 or 12V to 5V you can pick up a 7805 voltage regulator. The 7805 will handle 1A.

Also make sure to use a resistor divider or something to cut the control signals down as well.

A resistor divider is not really needed when a signal is invovled. You really dont want to connect it to + and - V. If you cut the voltage down you would want to use a series resistor just as a backup so you dont blow a pin. BUT isn't the kondo based on something like 485 network if this is the case i dont think it would work. Dont have a kondo so im not sure.

The board is surrounded by 3 pin headers so I don't think it's RS485. At least to the motors...
