A USB-UIRT question.

I am looking for software to use with my USB-UIRT so I can transfer the commands in my I-Sobot remote to my PC and later transfer the command(s) to my I-Sobot from my PC.
The USB-UIRT has a Help program that allows only 1 command to be uploaded to the PC and then DL to the robot. I have looked at Girder but this app. seems to be geared to AV & Audio remotes.
Perhaps I missed something?
Sugestions anyone?

Download "Robodance" software. It will control your I-sobot from your pC using your USB-uirt.

What is a "USB-UIRT"?

Do you mean UART?

Is this a language thing?

"Universal Infra Red Transmitter". I know. Blah. I agree.

PCMCIA - People Can't Memorize Crummy Industry Acronyms. Seriously, though, it has some acceptance: http://www.usbuirt.com/

Although the UIRT dates back a fair while before USB, iirc.

Hey Guys,

If I remember correctly there are only a few USB Uirts that work with robodance. Actually I think the lego mindstorms serial tower works, and can be found on ebay sometimes.

I was goofing around with this a while ago, but I couldn't find the drivers for the transmitter!

Keep us posted.

This is the one I bought. It works perfectly.

I was just using it with my Isobot and Robodance a second ago.

FYI: Even though the website doesn't list Vista as supported, I haven't encountered any difficulties using the USB-Uirt with Vista. I haven't tried any other IR programs than Robodance, however, so I can't vouch for any other programs working with Vista and USBUIrt.
