Now that I got the PS2 controller working with the Axon, I uploaded the complete library (.h and .c file) to the data center.

Hopefully others will be able to find it useful.

I already +Rep'd you, otherwise - I'd do it again. I appreciate your sharing this back with the community!

So... where can I download this library? I have dire need of it and the link just take me home. Can someone post it somewhere? Is there a better PS2 or PS3 controller interface library for AVR now? TIA!!!

Ya... links die =/. Are you using an Axon or a different Atmega board?

For the Axon, WebbotLib (http://webbot.org.uk/iPoint/30.page) has a PS2 controller library, though I've not used it. I'm not sure if the library can stand alone from the rest of Webbotlib, but if you have a board supported by Webbot's Project Designer (http://webbot.org.uk/iPoint/37.page), use that to generate the base code....

I am not using the Axon. I am actually using a Teensy++ 2.0 board which uses the AT90USB1286 chip. Know of any library that will work with it?

I am using Bill Porters PS2 library for Arduino, which has separate header file and C++ file. Works well for me with Arduino. I have used with Uno, Seeeduino Mega and with prototype Botboarduino (Arduino board soon from Lynxmotion).

You can download from his site: http://www.billporter.info/playstation-2-controller-arduino-library-v1-0/
