I have a need for a small, affordable, delta robot for moving light items from one conveyor belt to another.
This unit will be used in a light manufacturing environment.
Basic functional requirements of the unit are as follows:

Approximate Weight of conveyed piece: 100g
Maximum length of lateral transit(x and y axis): 9 inches
Maximum height needed for conveyance: 3 inches
End Effector will have a suction cup for picking items.
The system needs to be easily user programmable to define pick and place locations.
The pick will be triggered by an external photo sensor providing a +12V DC signal input.
Degree of placement lateral placement accuracy is 0.0625 inches

Nice to have capabilities:
Rotational function of end effector (Accuracy 0.2)
Interface with vision system for product orientation
Cycle time: 1.5 seconds or better
Parts and components easy to repair or replace.

We will provide compensation for time and materials, pending acceptance of project estimate.

I make all those mini delta robots you see at the industry shows, with 8"-15" OD x 2"-5" height workspace.

As you can see, cycletime in translation isn't a problem, but your spec for rotational accuracy is a bit extreme, even with vision. Suction tooling has limitations in rotational acceleration as well as accuracy.
