Do you have a comparison of the new features you've added with the Axon II over the original Axon?

There are dozens of changes, but the more significant are:
-better voltage stability (to handle as many Sharp IRs as you want)
-3x more hardware PWM output pins
-an additional 3.3V output header
-numerical LED display
-more regulated I/O
-supports external memory

A beautiful piece of work - killer job on making this. After a ton of research, I've decided that this is what I'll be using for my mech. My trusty Arduino is very disappointed to be left out of this project.

Just want to add to this thread that I've been tinkering with the Axon II since right after it came out and am very happy with it. I'm no robotics expert but it certainly has no trouble handling anything I need to do with it.

A new LED display library, complete with a timer interrupt based marquee capability, has been added to WebbotLib. Here is a short demo of most of the character set:

I decided to revive the SoR Scope. I entirely rewrote the tutorial and made a video to show how easy it is to use it.

What is the SoR Scope you ask? It'll convert your Axon/Axon II into a free 16-channel USB oscilloscope:

Make sure you watch it at high res =)

New SoR robot contest - winners get free refund or $100 on their Axon or Axon II.

Create a video that features the Axon in some way, upload to youtube, and submit to win.

http://www.societyofrobots.com/axon_video_contest.shtml

(fyi - if you purchased the Axon from Trossen, I can only refund at current pricing and can't refund shipping)

A customer made a really neat tutorial on how to use the Axon II with WebbotLib Project Designer.
