I have been busy designing some robotic arms based on servos, controlled by an Arduino.

So far I have 2 built, using different configurations. The 1st uses high torque metal geared servos.

It is simply controlled from a serial port, you send an integer angle value followed by the addressable servo. eg:

45w = Move wrist 45 degrees.
90r = Move the main base 90 degrees.

I wrote a VB.net app that allows you to move sliders to send these values, record movements and their playback speeds. Also you can write the chosen default start-up values to the Arduino's EEPROM, so on next power up it will slew to that position.

Whoops, I have managed to brick 2 servos tonight :-( I'll post the other when I have fixed them.
