Where can I get these airsoft "Defender" cannons that everyone seems to be using? My searches have not been fruitful. I'd rather not buy a whole tank.

The Defenders are not the tank guns. They're very heavy comparatively (vs the tank guns), but you can find them at Walmart.

The tank guns can be found at toyeast.com and matotoys.com

My local Walmart had several Defenders in stock. Think they were $20 each IIRC.

Thanks. I was thinking about the tank guns. Looks like I had the wrong search jargon; it's "barrel mechanism".

Has anyone tried the various barrel's available from ToyEast? I'm wondering if there's any preference on the forum for which one to use (M1A2, Tiger1 early or late, T72, T90)?

Also, how reliable are their weight statements? The T90 is listed as 500g, but others are 250/300/350g.

The 500g is a super over-estimate. They're more like 100-125g without hopper.

The exact gun many of us have seems to have been discontinued (the part number the Mech-warfare site links to is now dead), but this one looks to be nearly identical: http://www.toyeast.com/v3/pdtdetail.asp?pdt_id=A09000166 (M1A2 Abrams).
