So... I have not the slightest idea of what's going on in those pictures.

Lighting. Do it.

I agree with Tyberius. I can't really see much much...
But it seems like you're using Hitec servos (right?) I'm kinda interested in your project as I'm building a cheap humanoid too.
And also, from what I see, you have more DoFs than mine (which is gonna be 12 or 13). How much is your target budget for this project?

Keep going on your project btw, building a cheap humanoid is pretty fun I think :)

those pics were pretty bad i'l load some bettere ones soon
as for my budjet I think about $700 around in that area but the only reason it cost that much
I use a Robophilo Jr as a base the rest I used Lynxmotion servos and the SES set
as for the leg designs it's 6 on each leg

That's "cheap" ?!? For that, you could have built a heck of a Bioloid...

that's using the base of a RoboPhilo Jr?
because it looks pretty big...
I would have to agree with Adrenalynn with the price though... (my goal is to build one under $400 with cheap $8 servos) You can get some humanoids with $700.
But still, a custom-made one is the best I guess :) Keep it up

I also wanted to build my biped a partner to sparr with so the extra cost
in truth for all the servos and ses parts it's really less than $700
also after looking the records it's a bit less I forgot I got my servos here
and used some of the robophilo servos to cut cost
