At least they admitted that the announcement was premature by one year in the first sentence.:p
I can't wait for it to be released!

In the html it says it was posted on April 21st.

By the way, all of your mechs look awesome guys! Good luck at Robogames! I'll be devouring any videos that you post! :D

If you're wondering about my dormant status with my mech, that's about to end. Once I get free from some of my schoolwork and sports, I'll attack the situation violently.

I look forward to asking for help with my mech soon.

Is "MechWarrior 4" one and the same with the free "MechWarrior Living Legends"? Neither one mentions the other, but it doesn't make sense that there'd be two free products.

I think that's the Mechwarrior that they are currently updating. They're redoing the whole Mechwarrior thing with improved everything, from what I've read.

They are only releasing Mechwarrior 4 for free.

Living Legends is a 3rd party effort Crysis mod, not an official title.

@Ty: /me nods yes, but it is sanctioned by MS [Edit], quoting the following from wikipedia: "Mechwarrior: Living Legends is a fan-created multiplayer mod (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mod_%28computer_gaming%29), based in the Battletech (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battletech) universe, and using CryEngine 2 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CryEngine_2) as its engine. It is one of the few mods to have been sanctioned by Microsoft (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft)." Seeing how it's in a sense an open source project developed by fans-at-large then I'd have to conclude it actually is a separate product which, again, just seems strange to dilute the brand that way.
