Hey everyone, I am looking for a clear plastic that can be shaped. Probably by heating it around or over an object to get the desired shape. It also has to be strong enough to stand up against BB fire in Mech Warfare. I need it as a covering for the camera opening on my mech, and has to be shaped differently than just sheets of it.

I was thinking Lexan originally because that seems to be pretty tough, but can it be shaped?

If anyone has suggestions, please post for me. And maybe if you know what thickness would be good to use as well. Thanks. I am going to keep looking at the properties of plastics for now.

Lexan is indeed formable, but it has a high water content. If heated too much, it will form bubbles.

PetG is what I got for my vacuum former. It's pretty tough as well as very formable.
