Hi all, I am very new to servos in general, so please bear with me for what may seem to be a simple question.

I need low-resistance servos which enable manual manipulation while still reporting their position.

I am currently using a bioloid dynamixel ax-12+ set. They are pretty great, and when the power is removed, their general resistance is great. However, the second I add power, the resistance increases quite a bit, and its too rigid for my purposes.

Of course, I have set the torque bits to off on the motor.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!
