Here is a video of a tracked vehicle with an arm on it. I have changed the gripper several times because the bulldog is a little rough on it when I have one of his toys.

Dude...that thing is really cool! The fact that it can keep up with your bulldog is awesome. I have a stunted bull dog and she weighs about 32 pounds, a normal one should be in the 40 pound range. A robot that can hold its own against a 40 pound animal has got to be strong! Well done!

Very cool phwillys, I like it a lot! I had to lol about your cool dog - seemed not to pay the bot that much attention until you poked it in the end!

They are treads from a New Brite excavator, bought it from Maxway for 20 bucks. I made the wheels out of a boat trailer rubber roller. Works pretty good and can take a lot of abuse
