View Full Version : iRobot python GUI communication

Hi everyone,

I am new to this forum and robotics, and am currently working on a project which requires two way communication from the iRobot to the GUI. The thing with which I have the most trouble is making the GUI wait for a signal from the robots in order to continue on. Do any of you have some suggestions as to how to do this?

You need a multi-threaded application. Look up threading for python. It's pretty convoluted to get started with threading but Python makes it as easy as it's going to get.
