Dear colleagues

I am pleased to announce the publication of the new Chemical Sensor Series, Volumes 1 through 6, published by Momentum Press,
http://www.momentumpress.net/authors/ghenadii-korotcenkov

In these six volumes, many authors came together to reflect the wide range of recent changes and improvements in technological processes in industry, agriculture and conditions of our life that can be enhanced by the use of chemical sensors.

Inside every volume, students will discover all major categories of sensor types and their general functional usage from monitoring and analyzing gases, to analyzing liquids and compounds of all kinds. The six volumes offer a one-stop source of information on everything from all major types of sensors materials like metal oxides and polymers and nanostructured materials to nearly every class of sensor device used for chemical detection and analysis. The volumes cover major classes of sensors, including Adsorption Sensors, Electrochemical Sensors, Metal Oxide Sensors, Work Function-based Gas Sensors, Optical and Fiber Optic Sensors, Thermoelectric Sensors, etc..

Each edition will be invaluable to students, who may be taking courses in the field of material sciences, chemical engineering, electronics, environmental control, or medicine. This series will be interesting for post docs and Professors as well. I am sure that all of them will find information useful for their activity. All chapters devoted to specific sensing material or chemical sensors have similar format that facilitates the study of those sensing materials and sensors. Present edition is real handbook, which gives the answers on the many questions related to selection optimal sensing material, understanding fundamentals of chemical sensor functioning, designing technological routes of their fabrication, and specific applications of designed chemical sensors in health control, agriculture, industry, military, etc. I believe all six volumes would be a perfect addition to any university library, and an important acquisition for years to come. Therefore, I will be thankful if you offer our books to your library.
