View Full Version : [Question(s)] Arbotix Power Supply Question

I just wanted to check and make sure i'm not about to blow something up. I've got my arbotix working, and now I want to switch over to my 12V 5A power supply (this one: http://www.trossenrobotics.com/p/power-supply-12vdc-5a.aspx) instead of FTDI so i can power my servos. The only jumper i have to move is the FTDI to VIN right? Then I can just plug my power supply into the screw terminals? Sorry if this is a really stupid question, but i don't want to do something wrong and break my shiny new toy :).

Thanks in advance!

I didn't see anyone answer this, and the post is a couple of moths old, but yes you can power the Arbotix with that power supply. Yes, you move the jumper from FTDI to the VIN side of the header. After the pictures on the product page they have an adapter to plug into the power supply and gives you a red and black wire you can attach to the screw terminal block.
