Hey guys,

It might interest some people here... Here's a modest attempt at soldering a fine pitch BGA with my <$10 iron ^^
I know some skilled people can do a lot better, but still it was a fun experience :p

You've got a much steadier hand than I do!

Did you use a magnifier, or was it just by eyeball? In either case, very impressive!

Thanks;)
No magnifier, I find that at this scale it makes hand-eye coordination harder, and the distortion and chromatic aberrations are just annoying. But I guess I can nitpick only because I have the luck to have eyes that work well at close range ^^ (after 80cm... not so much anymore :s).

Hah, hadn't realized that was your vid as I skimmed by it on hackaday. Nice work :) I think I could pull this off...
