Are the dynamixel AX-12 and their native brackets compatible with anything on servocity.com? They sell a large array of channels, shafts, hubs, etc. but on product shots they are all mounted on HiTec servos. Is there something comparable for the dynamixel form-factor?

I would like to put together a wrist rotation for my arm, with an end-effector on the end. The effector is just a rod that needs to rotate, preferably on the same axis as the last servo horn.

Found 1 company that makes a tiny list of compatible hardware. http://madlabindustries.com/products/dynamixel-related-products/dynamixel-adapters/.
These horn adapters fit ax-12 and mx-28.

Your link to parts is neat. Since those parts are simply ABS plastic, I will note that I have had great success buying plastic, cutting templates out of paper, taping the templates to the plastic, and then making holes/cuts with a dremel. For that, I'd recommend Delrin over ABS, since it melts much less. Edges won't be as clean, but with a bit of practice, holes will be quite accurate.

The company that makes ServoBlocks, channels, hubs for Hitec, pictured in original post, is supposedly working on compatible versions for Dynamixels as well. No word on which model of Dynamixel, however.
