How hard is it to make those kondo robots autonmous?

It depends. How good of a programmer are you, and how much hardware hacking are you willing to do? The control board for the KHR-2HV only has 3 inputs, so your sensor input potential is limited.

Controlling the bot from a PC just got easier, since a dedicated programmer decided to write a .Net wrapper for the RCB-3 control board (http://www.lessieux.com/mywiki/index.php?title=RCB3_Interface). This opens up a lot of potential for making the robot more inteligent, but you'd need an additional I/O device to increase the number of sensors you could use.

What do you meen by "those kondo robots"? Do you meen Kondo KHR-1, KHR-2, KHR-1HV?
