Matt suggested I pass this idea on to you given that you are putting together a robotics convention.

I was thinking given that we have two "teams" forming fleshsacks and Skynet...why not have a "battle" of sorts at a robotics convention. It could be a capture the flag type game.

Now that I've given it some thought, how about the following:

This could be done either in an open field or in a warehouse. The environment would have a series of obstacles, such as oil drums or tire walls or the like arranged in a maze around a central hub. in the center of the maze would be the flag. Skynet people could place robot centuries about to patrol the area and protect the flag. Fleshsacks would then have to infiltrate and steel the flag, and return it to their home base outside of the maze. Skynet robots would have to be fully automated only having an on and off. They could be armed with paintball guns. Fleshsacks could use robots also, but more of a remote control model...or they could just run for it.

In anycase, this seams like it would be fun...and realistically, skynet people could double as fleshsacks, and try to take out their own creations.
