    Re: wireless video quiestion

This question is a bit vague as you don't give any detail of about your robot or computer.

The easiest solution is a wireless IP camera, easily found online at sites like amazon or newegg. Shop...
  6. Question(s) Re: How does one set the torque of the servos for a moving robot

Well, based on the quote from the user manual you provided :

and my own experience, yes it would be possible, but it's very much dependant upon a few things (not listed in any particular order)....
  7. Question(s) Re: How does one set the torque of the servos for a moving robot

That's the mass of the robot to 1/5th the stall torque of one servo.

    ;)

hahaha, quite possibly, but I couldn't find any of the other threads when I was looking for them earlier. I've played with recovering AX12 servos from errors a bunch in the past and chimed in on a...
  10. Re: AX12 Red light blinking - no motor activity - how to request

Not in the slightest, it only allows you to use the servo again and why I recommend putting the robot into a safe position to cool down. I also mentioned that playing with the temperature limit...
  11. Re: AX12 Red light blinking - no motor activity - how to request

I could be wrong, as I haven't played with this in a while, but I believe both are resettable/recoverable in software.
You need to reset the Torque Enable and Alarm Shutdown registers in both cases....

How about a universal joint? I don't know what your options are like for something off the shelf, but I wager you could make something pretty decent.

    Re: AX12A sync write

Have a look at BioloidController::writePose() since it does a sync write. You may want to make use of the pose based code already there, or modify it to meet your needs.

    Re: airsoft drivers?

I can't say I understand what this part is, but based on it's ratings, it's not likely to handle the current from your gun. Or not for very long.

  32. Sticky: Re: MW 2013+ Ruleset Additions and Changes Discussion

Conceptually I like this idea, but there would have to be a lot of teams involved, showing up ready, before it would be practical. Definitely worth revisiting as popularity grows.
  33. Sticky: Re: MW 2013+ Ruleset Additions and Changes Discussion

Would a biped really have a 2 weapon requirement? I've gotten away from that because of weight and trying to balance the extra momentum that comes with it.
