Re: Numa V2 - Quad Mech

A while ago I was looking at my original Numa thread and wondering why I had so few updates leading up to Robogames. Well now I'm reminded. The list of things to do is never ending (well, I wrote it...

Project Re: Pololu's Wixel + Arbotix Commander V2

I should also document the 3d-print encapsulated switch wired to one of the push buttons, giving me the ability to set a mode. E.g. TwitchMX's turret mode + laser was toggled in this manner :)

Re: 2018 Robogames Mech Target Plates/Transponder

Thanks for the pictures! Am I correct in understanding that the back panel will have 3 (or 4?) connectors, plus an integrated 1S battery (I don't recall where I read that).

Re: R-Team AX-12 Heat Sinking Method

I recently did 3 more servos, so I have four on Numa2. My own finding was that a dremel is slower and not needed with the AX12 case. Instead, I used a trapezoidal razor blade. Scored lines for the...

Still gotta weigh it. I'm worried it weighs more than I intended, but I can't find my numbers for the original Numa's total weight.

The positioning of servos 2 and 3 is pretty much just what I decided looked good, and enabled a good range of motion of the ankle.

What's your take on that choice? It sounds like you have opinions...

Great to see you still have the itch! For the sake of your servos, I would suggest you do some torque calculations to see the loads on your servos with that leg design.
