    You should check out the Play 700. It has built in sensors, remote control through Bluetooth and you can program it too.

    Have you used or seen the Robotis Play 600 and 700 kits. They are great intro to robotics kits. The Play 600 is 49.99 and the Play 700 is 89.99.

    The Robotis-OP3 does not come with covers but you can download the CAD files from Onshape or create .STL files in the Onshape app for down load. I printed the default covers in the picture...

    Yes, it uses the XM-430 servos. The moves are more like the OP1 and OP2. You program the robot using ROS also.
